The Fiona storm has passed, and thank heaven so much is still standing. I knew it would hit you hard, but was so hoping you’d all survive to rise again. The pictures of how hard it hit are telling, of course, but also reassuring in the big view.
Thank you so for following up with all of us out here across the continent and world.
Am so relieved that, while much restoration is underway, much remains intact.
You remain in my heart and prayers and thoughts.
Warmest regards! andrea

Our church youth group from Winnipeg visited in 2016. I’m saddened by these photos, but thankful that it is not any worse. Has there been any fund set up to aid in the repairs?
Thanks
Jennifer

We were so hoping to visit on our recent, Fiona shortened, trip to the Island. I’m so sorry to see the damage but glad everyone is safe. I hope you are able to get everything cleaned up and back running again. Best wishes for a great fall and winter.

Thank you for sharing pics. The damage to all of “The Island” is heart breaking.Recovery will take some time, but,no people are more commited to this ,I’m sure ,than as Islander.
I will be back to visit October 20th.
See you then………stay safe.

As a recent visitor from an east coast state (USA) familiar with hurricane destruction, I’ve been heartbroken for your island’s challenging losses. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures and best wishes for PEI recovery efforts.
