Tropical Fruit Popsicles
6 popsicles
1 ½ cup cold brewed Tropical Fruit Tea
¼ cup simple syrup
- To make cold brewed tea, mix your loose-leaf tea with cold water and set in fridge overnight. For every cup of water, use 1 ½ tsp of tea. Once your tea is strong enough, strain through a fine mesh strainer, and pour into a jar and keep in the fridge. Use simple syrup to sweeten to your taste.
- To make simple syrup, bring 1 cup of water, and 1 cup of sugar to a boil. You want to make sure the sugar is dissolved. Cool the syrup and use to sweeten whatever you need. Simple syrup is a great way to sweeten drinks that are already cold, as the sugar is already dissolved.
- To make the popsicles, stir together the cold brewed tea, and the simple syrup. Pour into popsicle molds, leaving room at the top. Cover molds, and place popsicle sticks straight into molds. Freeze for 8 hours, or overnight. To unmold the popsicles, run molds under warm water for a few seconds, and pull popsicles out. They can be stored in the molds for up to 3 months, or you can wrap the popsicles in parchment paper and keep in an air-tight container in the freezer.
