Celebrate Love from Prince Edward Island
Good Morning from Prince Edward Island,
Just a short note to wish all a wonderful holiday season whether you celebrate as Christmas, Hanukkah or just celebrate.
The time of year to be a focus on being kind, generous, forgiving, and loving humanity.
There is much for us to be grateful for, whether friends, family, your circumstances, your freedom to choose.
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." ~William Arthur Ward
I choose to celebrate the birth of Jesus. His birth has positively affected many individuals, societies, systems of governance and justice like no other.
This season I give thanks for the power and joy of music as well.
Below are some of what I have been listening to and loving this week.
Rick Wakeman - Short listen here
Also, been listening to the London Choral Sinfonia & Michael Waldron
And one of my favourites Andrea Bocelli, David Foster and the Tabernacle Choir.
In signing off, I seriously wish you much love this season to you and your family.
Take care of each other.
Sincerely,
Bruce
ps.
Remember, if you lose a sock in the dryer, it comes back as a Tupperware lid that doesn't fit any of your containers.

I am presently making My Mom’s Fruit Cookies, they are a staple for my kids, their wives and 4 grandchildren. Even the raw dough (heaven forbid) is good. Last thing on my list. Yeehaw.
Not sure if you have seen the Ennis Sisters from Newfoundland perform but oh my I highly recommend them. Just saw them last Sunday. They sing, dance and play and are funny as well.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you your family and staff.

Blessed Christmas to you and all the “family” of PEI Preserves. Christmas is about “memories” to me, including memories of a visit to your shop nearly ten years ago while touring the island. Joy expands as these memories don’t fade away, but are enhanced or triggered by other senses.
Opening the “gift to myself” of 12 large jars of delights from the island last night, I spread savory tapenade on crusty bread. I then eagerly awaited awaking this morning to take another large slab of bread (or two, if we’re honest) and opening two jars of sweet preserves to begin the day. The Cherry and the Strawberry-Rhubarb bites brightened the day list a burst of sunshine in the midst of winter cold.
Memories bring a smile and encouragement to the now-shortening days of my life, and all are precious. Some really taste and smell good, too!!
