What You'll need:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup PEI Preserve Co. Maple Hickory BBQ Sauce, divided
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
  • 4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • Tortilla chips, crackers, baguette slices, or veggies for serving

How to Make:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of the BBQ sauce, 1 cup of the cheddar, and all of the chicken until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into a glass baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar over the top.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and lightly browned. While it bakes, cook and crumble your bacon.
  6. Pull it out of the oven and drizzle with the remaining 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce. Sprinkle on the bacon and red onion.
  7. Dig in with your chips, crackers, or veggies… or honestly just a spoon, we won’t judge!

Tip: Rotisserie chicken works great here for a super quick prep. You can also assemble this ahead of time and pop it in the oven when guests arrive!
