Location: Philippines, Australia

The Golden Birdwing (Troides rhadamantus) is a birdwing butterfly that inhabits the Philippines. There are many subspecies on different islands of the Philippines. The fore wings are black and the veins are bordered by white colour. The underside of Troides rhadamantus is very similar to the upside. The hind wings are golden. The veins and the edge of the wing are black.
