Welcome to Season 27!

It is fun to be gearing up for a new season, our 27th summer in New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island! The energy level here is high as we focus on getting ready for the season and we’re excited for all that lies ahead in 2015! It’s always wonderful to see our returning staff and also to welcome new staff to our team.  

Over the last few months, we have installed a new Nestcam in the Gardens of Hope along the River Clyde. We’re hoping to attract a nesting pair of osprey this spring. The Gardens of Hope has almost doubled the size of our Butterfly House, home to imported tropical butterflies from Costa Rica and possibly the Philippines by the end of this year! We’re also preparing to convert our theatre into a Dessert Shop & Gallery with entertainment, art classes, and natural history education from time to time and, of course, our delicious desserts! Teresa Doyle and her son Patrick Bunston, will be performing here on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm in a concert series called Jigs to Jazz starting in July.
