Common Name: The Owl
Scientific Name: Caligo Memmon
Wingspan: 115 - 130 mm (can reach 150 mm) Location: Mexico & Amazon Rainforest

Caligo Memmon (The Owl) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is also known as the Pale or Giant Owl butterfly. Adults feed on juices of rotting fruit. The species can be found in rainforests secondary forests.
