Basil Pesto is great on pizza, pasta, bruschetta, or blended with butter and served with grilled fish. Try it on fresh pasta tossed with shrimp for a quick and fabulous pasta dinner!
Ingredients: Water, basil, canola oil, pine nuts, olive oil, garlic (contains water, canola oil, citric acid), salt, garlic powder, sugar, onion powder, spices, herbs, concentrated lemon juice (contains sulphites), xanthan gum, basil extract, potassium sorbate
Directions: Add 4-6 tablespoons parmesan cheese to 1 cup of pesto sauce. Mix thoroughly and use for an entrÃ©e or salad as follows: Hot EntrÃ©e: Toss desired amount of pesto into cooked and drained pasta. Garnish with additional parmesan and pine nuts. Serve immediately. Salad: Simply allow the cooked pasta to marinate in the pesto overnight and serve cold on a bed of lettuce. Serves 6-8
