This flavourful Indonesian sauce is prepared with peanuts, coconut cream, and sherry. It is ideal for chicken, beef, or pork satays. It also adds flavour to stir-fry and pad thai.
Ingredients: Water, peanut butter (peanuts, sugar, hydrogenated soy bean oil, salt), soy sauce (water, wheat, soy beans, salt, sodium benzoate), sugar, white vinegar, sesame oil, coconut milk (coconut milk, water, sulphites), rice vinegar, garlic, dehydrated garlic, dehydrated ginger, natural flavour, concentrated lemon juice, dehydrated onion, xanthan gum, spices, citric acid, potassium sorbate
Directions: As a Hot Appetizer or Entre: marinate satays (skewered chicken, beef or lamb) in peanut sauce for 2-6 hours. Place satays on a barbecue grill or on a broiling pan. Brush with additional sauce. Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until done. Serve the satays with peanut sauce for dipping.
