Luascadh (meaning ‘swing’) are a five piece Irish traditional group embodying the spirit of Irish culture. Bríd Harper, Stacey Gilroy, Margaret Hoban, David Crowe and Cathy Kirke hail from across Ireland and are individually renowned. They are all graduates of the Masters program in Irish Traditional Music Performance at the University of Limerick, where they met and formed. The members have individually played and toured across Europe and the world. 


Monday Evenings at the Preserve Co.'s Garden Theatre

Island Songbook, one of PEI's newest music shows, is a celebration of Island culture through its unique folk music and the stories behind the songs. Host Michael Pendergast presents a variety of local music, traditional and contemporary, both comical and tragic, songs of the land, the sea, and the people. 

Michael will also sing some of his original songs with Island themes, weaving them together with chanties, come-all-ye's, and ditties to highlight what makes PEI such a unique corner of the world.
Island Songbook will take place each Monday evening at The Preserve Co.'s Garden Theatre at 7:30 pm.

This mom and son team will share an evening of lively music from Teresa’s twelve recordings. Spanning folk, Gaelic, Celtic and jazz, their genre-bending music has broad appeal and is always rooted in the songs and stories of their native Prince Edward Island. Audiences are captivated by their tight family harmony, Patrick’s skill on a host of instruments, and their light-hearted Maritime rapport that appeals to any audience, young or old.

Atlantic String Machine

Gardens of Hope parking is at the end of the cedar fence running from the Preserve Company to the top of the hill. The path to the Terrace is fully paved and fully accessible. The concert will be rain or shine. The terrace deck is under roof.

Atlantic String Machine is award winning and has been taking the Prince Edward Island classical music scene by storm. The group is made up of five musicians with considerable professional experience having performed worldwide with internationally recognised symphony and chamber orchestras, ensembles and individual artists. They have recently joined to present a range of music from classical to jazz and pop.

Donation Jar will present on the Terrace, please support classical music.
