Prince Edward Island Preserve Company
We love good tasting food, good caring people and Prince Edward Island.
We have made it our mission to:
- produce or purvey good tasting food; making sure that the highest quality farm gate produce and ingredients are used.
- work with others in promoting the use of the Golden Rule as our guide in dealing with each other in the workplace and the marketplace
- make sure that people have the best experience while visiting or thinking of visiting this little piece of heaven on Earth… called Prince Edward Island.
Food was the beginning but we have grown to include a wide range of services including restaurant, gift shop, and gardens.
Our motto is Everything in Good Taste, and has been as as much a part of our guiding principle since 1985 as has the Golden Rule.
Our Commitment to Community
Through donations of either product, services or finances we support over 40 groups and organizations on Prince Edward Island.
Our Pet Organizations are:
GARDENS OF HOPE
an organic flower and nature garden mindfully planted with tranquility and service to others as its mission.
ECO-PEI
1 percent of all our mail order sales is committed to this local environmental organization whose mandate in part is to teach others about being good stewards of what nature offers.
Helping the Children
Every year the kitchen staff raise funds through fun contests, whatever the staff raise the company matches and then the staff go out and purchase toys for children at Christmas. They give these toys to the Salvation Army for distribution. We just love our staff.
