Each summer until 2010 such was the case until - oh happy day - I packed up and sold my Ottawa home and moved here. But some things never change; now as an Islander (and I defy anyone to tell me I'm not) your restaurant and gift shop remain my all-time favourites. I take all my visitors there and when alone, I grab my book and drive there to treat myself. Funny because my husband and I were just talking over dinner when we would be making our first trip to PEI this year. We enjoy the island and all it holds for us. We have always felt very welcome and since purchasing our property 14 years ago make our summer home our destination spot every year. We also enjoy PEI Preserve Company's food, the walks and music. We love to treat first timers to the restaurant and just watch there expressions as they take in the beauty of the location and wonderful delicacies that await.
